2019-20 Schedule Thread

We should never finish a season below 200 IMO. That is an injustice to donors. Granted every in state rival is on a down year that still doesn’t come close to fixing it. They better not schedule like that again next year

We do have 2 more quad 1 games, and one more quad 2 game on the schedule (SLU is technically a quad 3 game, because it's a home game). That'll be a total of 4 Quad 1 and 7 Quad 2. If vcu gets back into the top 50 before the end of the season, that'll move Quad 2 game into a Quad 1.

Big problem with our SOS is the number of quad 4 games we have (we'll have 12 before the PIG, 13 after). That's too many. Second biggest problem is our holiday tournament was trash as it relates to quality opponents. All three of our wins are Quad 3. But we need to actually be invited to the better tournaments, which isn't an opportunity we've had in awhile.

Baylor and Cincinnati were better, but the other two games were much worse, so it kind of evens out. 2019 and 2020 are about even in terms of Quad 1-4 games.

2019: Quad 1: 1-4; Quad 2: 0-6; Quad 3: 5-3; Quad 4 12-2

2020: Quad 1 (1-3); Quad 2: (0-7); Quad 3: (4-4) Quad 4: (11-1) -- these are projected based on remaining games: Quad 1 Dayton, @Richmond, Quad 2 @Duquesne; Quad 3 SLU; Quad 4 St. Joes, Fordham. We'll also get another quad 4 game since we're all but a lock for the PIG.
