Princeton just picked up a 4-star point guard. Don't sleep on the Ivies.
Would think the Llewellyn signing takes Princeton out of the running for another 2018 PG, but who knows?

That 4/5 is looking a little crowded next year. Wouldnt be suprised to see a departure there.https://verbalcommits.com/players/xavier-pinson
Apparently we just offered this kid today, another PG. With just 1 scholarship in 2018 as of now it's interesting to see what direction we are taking.

Looks like AJ.Offered this kid yesterday as well, looks pretty athletic. Def looks like we are chasing after a PG and a 3/4.

The good onesWhat type of players should Mason go after next year? I think this will be the recruiting's staff toughest year.
We pretty much know who the starters will be next season. So we cant promise any incoming freshman/transfers playing time.

I am not advocating this, but it seems like an opportunity to reach out to transfer players. Coaches could pitch 'We don't have minutes to spare this season, we are not going after incoming freshman because we think you can lead us next year once your eligible."
just a thought.
Fair point, right now everyone and myself included have really high expectations for the next 2 seasons. The staff already knows who they want, more or less, for 2018. Those kids can sign a LOI this fall.
As far as "knowing who the starters will be," I would say we have only two guys who, barring injury or something weird, are locked in as starters for the next two seasons.
We have a lot of young kids who we all really like, but the reality is most of them still have a lot to prove.
It also helps us that Dave has established he's going to play the best kids, regardless of class. High-level recruits know they will have a chance to get on the court early here if they are good enough.
Really hoping this is the case with Jordan Miller. I know the staff wants him badly, hopefully he decides to commit in the Fall. The staff already knows who they want, more or less, for 2018. Those kids can sign a LOI this fall.

If we can't beat out Monmouth and LaSalle for a recruit we don't deserve to land him.We made it to his top 3

Not that I don't agree with you; I do, but don't sleep on Monmouth. If we can't beat out Monmouth and LaSalle for a recruit we don't deserve to land him.
