Amir Harris is the real deal. Legit 6-5 PG. Good athlete, great length, tight handle, terrific defender and an underrated shooter.
There’s a reason Dan Hurley wanted him. He would be a great get for Mason.
General recruiting thought - if Schmidt could get Mobley and Adams to come to Olean, Paulsen should be able to get and develop similar players at Fairfax.
I think - though not 100% that Schmidt has relied more on transfers than Paulsen traditionally has.
It did take Schmidt some time - Bonnies were in at least as bad a shape (if not more) as Mason when he arrived.
I remember him decommiting after he was recruited over, figured he already picked a new school. I’d love for him to come to Mason but I hadn’t seen anything on us being interested in him.
Could you imagine a 6’5 Pg playing for us. Been a while.
Here is tape from his game last night. It shows the good and the bad.Amir Harris is impressive.
Where is the info/tape on richard - never seen that kid!

Looks to me like he needs to work on taking care of the ball if he is going to be a successful collegiate point guard. Still, the defensive potential on the perimeter looks off the charts. We all know Mason needs that desperately.
Yeah, I got confused. Thought I was looking at tape of Amir Harris for a second. Which is dumb, because I’ve seen Harris’s tape before and loved it.He could be a secondary ballhandler, like Kier is this season, and play mostly off the ball.

The way Kier has been attacking off the dribble lately, I think he may end up taking over the point for his senior year. Honestly, I think his skill set is much more suited to be a point guard anyways. All I know is, we could really use a PG either in this class or the next to eventually take over for Otis after he graduates. Maybe that's Javon Greene, but I'd rather he have competition and earn the job rather than just fall into starting because we have no one else to do the job.
None of our shooting guards can shoot so why not. JDS supposed to be our scoring savior but Javon was also supposed to be a sharpshooter and look how that has gone
Greene must have read this post and took it personally:
14 points
9 rebounds
6 steals
3 assists
In a win over Richmond today.
All I said was he was supposed to be a Sharp shooter and he isn't lol. That is all still true. I like Greene a lot but he is not half as effective outside as pros like gmujim said he was going to be. Great win glad for Greene and goanar for playing great todayGreene must have read this post and took it personally:

The kid has all the physical attributes to be a great A10 PG, long and explosive. Paulsen's recruiting is catching up to the league for all you haters. He is a freshman. Look back at Otis and Jaire’s freshman stats, they both shot a terrible percentage from 3 as well. They stayed in the gym and worked on their games and now are both excellent shooters.
Javon is a hard worker and there is absolutely nothing wrong fundamentally with his stroke. Wait and see what happens to his shooting percentage as the game slows down for him. He’s gonna be special.
I hope you're right man. I think his biggest talent is driving to the hole and finishing but he doesn't do it enough. The GW gsme really made me happy with what his possibilities are in the future. I just wish he would hit a damn open three lol but that goes for everyone not named Otis on this years teamHe is a freshman. I think you're confusing me with the trolls lol. Only thing I speak negatively on are inbounding plays (and if you don't think we are brutal then you don't watch) and matchups on man to man. Love watching these kids play (except Davidson game lol)The kid has all the physical attributes to be a great A10 PG, long and explosive.
