I expect Goanar Mar to take a step up to be in contention for A10 Second Team.... I think with Reuter and an improved Calixte GoMar should be able to dominate at the 3/4.

I expect Mar and Grayer to have much improved FG percentage. Teams will double team the post and leave the 3 wide open.

I expect a big jump in the sophomores now that they won’t be relied upon as heavily and have a lot of minutes under their belt.

Mar believe it or not has room to improve and really can be a special special player for Mason. They all have room but him especially.

In a perfect world we will have 6 or 7 guys average double figures or close to it which will make us a nightmare for opponents to plan against us. I see up to 7 guys being capable of going off for 20+ points on any given night depending on match-ups. A total nightmare for opponents to scout and plan for. Good times coming to Fairfax if all keep their heads and play up to potential.

W&M above vcu by that much? Seems like a stretch

I shared the link with my vcu friend and he refused to read their preview when he saw that they were below W&M. They don’t seem to think Marcus Evans is going to miss significant time after having Achilles surgery.

I can’t wait to watch them have another down year. I’m planning on going to our game against them in Richmond. I think everyone should travel down there like they’ve done to us for years.

Did he rupture his achilles? That typically seems to be a career ending injury for high level basketball players. Even if it doesn't end it, it all but eliminates explosion.

I look at a guy like DeMarcus Cousins, and I don't see any way a guy his size will be even half as effective after he recovers.

He tore his left achilles a year ago last July and then tore his right achilles at the beginning of June. 4-6 months recovery. I’m sure your right about his explosiveness, never saw him play prior though.

Their "experts" say he will be back for December.... two torn achilles in two years seems to make me think that isn't accurate

Update.... St. Joe's 63. Preview has them as possible contenders for the A10 title if they stay healthy.

So as of today, we're not worse than 62.

And no worse than third in the A-10, which is probably where we will get picked.

SLU and Davidson in some order, then Mason.

Of course, I think we have a more complete team than either of them and will win the A-10 regular season. We will see....

From your lips to God's ears. I can't wait for the sports rooms to open up across MD and WV. I'm going to spend all of the first weekend of March Madness in a drunken stupor at the casino.
