Not to constantly be negative on here, but I wouldn't think the chances are very good. He gets an offer one day and then - BOOM - is ready to announce the next day?

He either really loves Mason and was waiting around hoping a scholarship would come, or he had already made up his mind to go elsewhere. I think the latter is more likely; although, I'd be ecstatic if it's the former.

Unreal people are lashing out at Jim for coming on here and sharing what he knows, which he stated was limited to the fact that he was committed elsewhere and not coming to Mason. If you have read the boards with any sort of comprehension, you know Jim has more info then the rest of us and has never given any reason not to value what he says.

I'm just playing around...gmujim92 is a good guy and means well...let's face it, Troy is a glorified cheerleader on the bench...I hope I am dead wrong just like I was with Marquise Moore...I don't see Troy on the first team A10 by the time he graduates...maybe first team cheerleading squad member, but certainly not A10 Men's Basketball first team. I even hope that my super stalker Quentin Daniel digs up this thread three years from now and pees on me.

If I were solely judging Troy based off his performance on the court i would say he ha no chance to be an all conference player.

But Paulsen is really high on him. Before the beginning of last season Paulsen said Troy would be the 6th man off the bench. I think Paulsen sees the potential a casual fan can't see.

If not Mason, Aaron would be smart to pick Butler over vcu.

Both of us play a style that fits Aaron's game ... vcu not so much now that Rhoades is back and wants to go up tempo on both ends.

He's a thinking man's PG, not a freak athlete.
