The original post insinuated that black players don't know the fundamentals - at least that's how it came across to me. Why would that be acceptable or funny?

I've actually followed this place for quite a while. But my point is that even a joke about it can be racist. But whatever, continue as you please.

I don't know if it can be made clearer that the offensive portion of the "joke" does not involve the "white guy." By it's nature, the "joke" makes an implication that black basketball players are not fundamentally sound. Are you not able to see that?

My least favorite thing in the world is trying to convince people that can't be convinced, and I just don't have the energy for it. I don't appreciate racism in any form, whether or not someone feels like it's a joke. I'll leave it at that.

Xuqra I was not trying to be racist just trying to make a joke. I have heard from coaches on ESPN, TNT, etc that talk about schools and seen such as Princeton, and other majority white basketball make fundamentals a priority. Schools such as them have great movement and fundamentally sound watch when we play Cornell. Even when I played intramural basketball the Asian and Caucasian teams win because they work on the little things and my team(Predominately black) depends on talent and ability. I go to Mason and I don't think you can be racist and go here. That is all I meant I apologize to cause an uproar.

Clearly three more 6'7" small forwards and a center was no fundamentals. We are short on those

In reality, we need a shooting guard, and then another PF prospect. And the last spot would either be a PG or best available, depending on how Moore and Jackson develop.
