He practiced with the team in August (did not go to Spain however). He also was with the team when they volunteered last week at the Dulles Plane Pull.

He practiced with the team in August (did not go to Spain however). He also was with the team when they volunteered last week at the Dulles Plane Pull.
Per Jon Rothstein and others, Kobie Eubanks flunked the NCAA clearing process due to academic reasons and will not enroll at Baylor this year. Looks like we dodged a bullet on that one. It also means he's back on the market for 2015.

Thank God.
The last thing we can afford is to have problems with Mayimba. He's not mentioned as one of the A-10's top freshmen, but I predict his athleticism is going to turn more than a few heads this season.
Even if all he does is come in for 10-15 minutes a game and play lockdown D on one of the A-10's elite wing players, any offense we get from him will be a bonus.
Good for him. Really. All kids should be realistic and go somewhere they can make an impact beyond cheering from the bench.
He was never going to wind up at Mason as long as Hewitt is head coach. He wants length at the PG spot and Marquise is even on the shortish side at 6-2.

6-7 PF Charlie Thomas narrowed down his list down to DePaul, Rutgers, and Wisconsin. George Mason not in the list. Guess the open practice he attended at the RAC back in August did not impress him or convince him.
Omari George who was expected to come to George Mason as a walk on has committed to Bowie State University instead.

Being that Wisconsin and Georgia Tech are my other schools I root for since my 2 brothers went there, I'm okay with that.
Pretty neat coincidence... Wisc, GT and Mason all went to the final four while we attended that school. As well as my only two cousins on my Dad's side while at UCLA. You're Welcome Mason Nation.

For F sake, no one gives a shit about vcu here. I don't need to be reminded on a regular basis that vcu is good and will continue to be good... especially on our own boards.

Yeah it's of no interest to us that a team we will be playing twice every year is getting top 100 kids on the regular.
