Have you seen the schools that were in the running for Jai Lewis, Will Thomas, or Luke Hancock?

I would imagine the basketball competition level and publicity isn't huge in Hockey Country New Hampshire which is why he's playing in MA. I wouldn't be surprised if he blows up his Senior year and more offers come to the table.

At the A10 level, you will eventually need a horse or two. Watching the arts school of richmond land top 100 talent, and have several more targeted in top 60 for 2015 pisses me off. that is all.

And we have 3 ESPN Top 100 on our roster. Copes (Bust), Jenkins and Royal. We'll get there my friend. We finally have an administration that is more pro-athletics and hopefully Hewitt will get his shit together and we start winning again.

Jenkins was not an espn 100. He wasn't ranked at all. His position grade was 85 so maybe you got confused.

Copes and Royal...eh.....i don't see them as true freshman recruits when one came b/c of his uncle and the other was a by product of Hewitts former job.

actually he was for a bit before he reclassified and graduated a year early GSII. The Great Patsby is correct.

He was for a bit. He was I think in the 80-100 range, but then once he committed of course he dropped off.

He was a four star top 100, signed with Mason and was dropped to a two star 48 hours later. Someone took a screenshot of it to document their trickery, forget who it was. Might have been Brian or Gunnie.

He was rated in the low 90s as a 4-star for 2013, based on the assumption of another year's development (and offers from bigger schools). When ESPN realized he had reclassified to 2012, they dropped him from the 2013 Top 100 list and revised his rating downward. Some of it is "trickery," but most of it is because he was leaving school a year earlier, as a much rawer prospect.

ESPN is terrible, but no worse than any of the other crappy websites that rank players based on watching videos and never seeing most of them play in person. It's all a huge scam, but a lucrative one because people are stupid and will pay for "insider" information about promising teenage athletes.

Its the same list you were just complaining about vcu being able to grab guys from, and us not. So now since you were wrong, did you change your opinion and the top 100 doesnt matter? Or what now?

The argument wasn't about how well ESPN does with their list, but rather if JJ was a top 100 player on the list. This proves he was.

When I checked the year, he wasn't listed. I admit not remembering that JJ appeared on the top 100. Regardless, gmujim is right, espn isn't reliable. For the most part its a crap shoot after top 20.
