I think a good recruiting class spells another year of PH.
GSII, I am getting mixed signals from your post. If I am interpreting it correctly, you think we should give Hewitt at least one more year.He couldnt coach multiple All Americans to above .500 in ACC and he made us poo poo with a pretty good roster. No matter who he coaches, they regress or stay stagnant. That much we see as a proven fact. He uses players' talent instead of cultivating it better player in turn improve the whole team. He says players get betterbut havent. Leads you to think one way but we never see anything ie.marko, royal, moores shot etc. Hewitt has to go. I dont care how good his recruits look like on paper, we have seen it all before and theres no need to see it play out again. He sucks in all phases of the game. End of story.

liking the attitude:
I hope we can keep this kid in the fold with the new staff....this kid has the look of the best kid PH signed.
Ahmad "J.R." Gilbert had a game-high 31 points (13-14 FG's), 4 blocked shots, & 2 steals as Constitution defeated Math, Civics and Sciences in the Class A state semifinals last night - see http://www.philly.com/philly/sports...ution_handle_MCS__waltz_into_state_final.html.
I am not surprised as most of what has connected him to Mason is gone or headed out the door. It would be nice if he wasn't thinking that way yet, but, I don't think it means much until the new coach is hired. I am assuming BE will do as previous AD's have done and only give the release after the new coach has had a chance to talk to him.According to a tweet I just read, Gilbert told his coach that he will seek his release from Mason.
