I'd give my left nut to have a guy like Will Thomas again. We need a legitimate post player...................and a point guard that can shoot.

I'm pretty sure a low post/center type and a point guard are two things Hewitt's scheme need on both sides of the ball, which includes his "point zone defense."

ODU fans think they have the inside track on him. Given the very realistic possibility that Thompson could come in and start right away at Mason, I'd hope they're wrong.

Trevor Thompson, C/PF , 6-11. He's transferring out of Virginia Tech.

That would be interesting because I'm about 99 percent sure Thompson didn't get an offer from Indiana out of HS. If he had, he certainly wouldn't have signed with Va. Tech.

Then again, it's certainly possible that Goodman is throwing stuff against a wall to see what sticks.
