As much as I appreciate L for recruiting role players as well as superstars, good Lord, bringing in Bennett was wholly unacceptable for a team coming off a Final Four a few years back. He's getting 11 minutes a game as a 29-year-old for a D2 team for God's sake.

Meanwhile, I think Jon's 7 and 5 and demonstrated acumen from 3-range make him a guaranteed NBA draft pick.

Arledge Making Most of Chance with Monarchs
http://www.maceandcrown.com/2015/01/25/arledge-making-chance-monarchs/

In the summer of 2013,Jonathan Arledge was coming off his best season ever with the George Mason Patriots. Arledge put up double figures 13 times in the 2012-2013 campaign and was poised for a great senior season.

In June, two months after the season ended, he wasn’t sure if he would ever play collegiate basketball again. Arledge suffered a serious back injury in a car accident that sidelined him for an entire summer. From June to September he was dealing with the injury and the rehab process.

“The pain just seemed to get worse and worse. I tried playing through it and it wasn’t working out,” said Arledge.

Determined to finish his last season of eligibility, Arledge asked for a medical redshirt and it was granted. Soon after he learned he would have to transfer.

“It was not until that moment that it hit me that my career at Mason was over,” he said.

"He will graduate in May with a degree in Coaching Management. Arledge is hoping for a shot in the NBA and plans to start his own business when his career is over."

There's the money line in the JA story. Still hoping for that NBA a shot. It was a nice article. Didn't look like a lot of pain when he botched that dunk vs AU game 1 last season.
