Welcome Troy Temara

Troy showed some impressive quickness and deceptively athletic moves with his two lay-ins vs. Fordham. The game is slowing down for him and he's beginning to find a rhythm. Troy's going to be fun to watch this time next season!

He's been really close on quite a few of his reverse layups. What he needs to learn is Jalen's move where he ducks the defender, gets him on his back and goes straight up for the most ridiculously close layups ever (love that move).

Relvao as a backup needs a baby jump hook. With his length, if he can get into the middle of the paint and execute a standard jump hook, he'll be unblockable.

I don't know how I feel about this. I liked his upside. But the 5 spot was getting crowded

I really, really liked what he could have been in another year or two. Also, he drew fouls at a ridiculous rate in a preseason scrimmage last year. So. I'm sorry to see this. But, it must mean that Calixte and Relvao are doing something right...?

Coupled with Paulsen's embrace of small ball, I'd guess. Four players battling for the same 40 minutes a game.

I thought once we got Calixte and Reuter, we might see some more double post offense at times, but it sounds like Paulsen is all in on the 4 guard lineup.

We all had guessed a forward would transfer at the end of the season. I guess Troy saw the writing on the wall when it came to possible playing time and getting recruited over. I wish him the best of luck and loved his energy on the bench last season.

Dang it. I loved Troy. I think he's gonna be a beast one day. It was certainly getting crowded there, though. Would have liked him for another year, though.

Best of luck.

Glad he left, wasn't anything more than a glorified cheerleader, despite GMUJim92 boasting his potential first tem A10 credentials...although I am Pissed he left so late, we could've landed another solid talent.

He must've either did very badly in Summer School or saw that AJ Wilson/Goannar Mar were gonna steal tons of his minutes.

He is a great athlete with real potential who simply struggled in his first year of college ball, it happens. Looking back, I think he more than anyone would've really benefited from a redshirt year.

Best of luck to him.

I second the points that have been made about a crowded front court and him possibly seeing how he was the odd man out. I wish him well in his future and hope he develops and can contribute at the college level. He was extremely fun to watch on the bench. Not sure why people are so upset and think that is a bad thing. I love energy from guys who are not in the game (and probably shouldn't be). AJ Wilson (redshirt) and Troy were the two biggest cheerleaders on the bench and that helped the team in many games.

(Writer's Note: I was one of the people very anti-Murrell scholly and if I came off like P8triotfan4life then I apologize for being a d bag)
