A Mason record could possibly be broken vs. Longwood tonight. Sophomore PG Otis Livingston II has made 23 consecutive FT's (he hasn't missed a FT since shooting 6-7 vs. LVC on Nov. 15). The school record of 27 consecutive FTM is held by Rob Rose (1/20/86 - 2/3/86).

If you watch the press conf. with Paulsen - Paulsen admits to being superstitious and probably didn't want to jinx the kid.

What's the deal with the possible injury during the temple scrimmage that was posted in the longwood thread? Rumor and false or sad truth? Or am I just not getting a joke and am part of a dumb fan base?

Yeah, whoever posted the injury joke please don't do that again. Nearly gave me a heart attack.

Don't worry, there is no injury. Someone posted that he had good information that Otis was injured during the Temple scrimmage before the season started, the post in the Longwood thread was making fun of that "inside information".

The poster who originally posted the completely BS injury rumor has never explained himself and should be ignored by all.

I have too many people on ignore at this point so I can't remember who it was - gmu05 maybe?

It was a legit concern mentioned to me by a team manager. Turned out to be fine but was just sharing the info like everyone does on here. Get over it, 90% of the stuff posted on here is BS.
