Welcome Otis Livingston

Don't worry, there is no injury. Someone posted that he had good information that Otis was injured during the Temple scrimmage before the season started, the post in the Longwood thread was making fun of that "inside information".

The poster who originally posted the completely BS injury rumor has never explained himself and should be ignored by all.

I have too many people on ignore at this point so I can't remember who it was - gmu05 maybe?

Longwood has computers to run a message board? They have electricity now at Longwood?

Joe, have you watched the ESPN documentary "Catholics vs Convicts" yet? I'm not a Notre Dame or Miami fan, and I found it absolutely fascinating — especially new footage that even Lou Holtz and Jimmy Johnson hadn't seen about a huge TD pass (which some might argue makes up for the controversial Cleveland Gary fumble) .

I did watch it, and had the same thought about the TD "catch". I've always heard the story of that game as being decided by the Gary "fumble", but after watching the documentary I think it's just sour grapes. Gary didn't fumble and that wasn't a catch for the TD. But if the fumble was called correctly (as a TD), then perhaps there is no need for the TD catch later ;)

It is funny when you watch old footage and think "Why didn't they just review those plays?" before remembering then that call on the field stood. I'm still not sure what they would have ruled on the Gary fumble. So close.

Oh, and just to keep this thread on track, I wonder if Otis Livingston watched that documentary. I bet he'd really enjoy it as a former college athlete himself and now a sports anchor.

For teammates in transition or half court is reckless and inaccurate. He's not a wild, out of control player.

His excitement after the Abrams behind the back pass last year or tip pass to Marquise yesterday proves all that. So to say he's not looking

to pass... he would much rather give the basketball up to a teammate for a dunk or three than do it himself. You don't really see that...

"Wild shots" hoping for fouls means undisciplined and out of control. He's not that type of player. His first instinct even in transition is

@OlivingstonTV maybe we can take this offline? Really don't think anything I wrote was objectionable.

Again I challenge you to count the open shots he gets his teammates. Then get back to me personally.

No disrespect intended? That's what you did.. he doesn't go to the basket hoping for foul calls. He believes in himself.. also his teammates
