Pretty sure that if you are redshirting that you cannot travel with the team. I don’t understand why he wasn’t on the bench at the last home game but I don’t think this one is on him.

The commentators during the K St. game mentioned Grayer's recent absence from the past several games. They stated that Grayer is being held out of action and is hoping to return at the start of conference play.

Will someone with press credentials verify those comments and ask DP what is Grayer's current status? ...GiantKiller, I'm looking in your direction.

Yea, I've never heard that. Transfers who are ineligible typically don't travel, but future medical redshirts usually do.

Yes that's correct. Even if he had already applied for the medical hardship waiver, he would still be allowed to travel with the team.

You can't apply for a medical redshirt until after the season.

The travel restriction is only for transfer redshirts AFAIK.

Not that I know anything but I would say medical redshirt to Grad Transfer is a done deal. He has played his last game for us.

At this point, I couldn’t care less. He’s not with us, and we just started A10 play. I’m going to focus my energy on our kids busting their a** to win games.

The staff owes nothing to anyone at this point regarding Grayer, although I suspect the transfer (at least), would be announced on the midseason list like Arledge’s was. If they don’t want to discuss it, they won’t discuss it and it’s put to bed.

They won’t know officially about the redshirt until after the season.
