I see that two players in that game are heading to Miami, one of which is only listed at 5-foot-6, 160 pounds. I'm sure Chris Lykes is a very good player, but even Spud Webb was listed at 5-7.

5-6 is probably generous for Chris, but he's an uber athlete. Dunks with ease and has a lightning first step. He was pretty much unguardable in HS and AAU ball.

It will be interesting to see how he fits in L's system.

I'm surprised Caputo hasn't landed a head coaching job yet (he's way overdue), but I guess the silver lining is he will finally have somebody his own size to play with.

Caputo couldn't guard Lykes if he cloned himself 4 times and played Lykes 5 on 1.

Lykes will probably be the starting PG for Miami in 2 years. Possibly next year if Newton (Sr) doesn't improve.

I think we're all really going to like this kid's work ethic a lot. I do have to admit, though, I'm a little pissed I can find a thread about his signing anywhere on the vcu boards.
