The two recruits I was most excited about over the last few years were Mar and JDS.
Don’t ever listen to a thing I say about recruiting.

Personally I think we need a grad transfer, even if it’s just someone to come be a role player for a year from a lower conference. Completely agree though if we don’t use the scholarship this season then it’s a waste.

Hard to find a grad transfer who is willing to accept bench minutes ...
Disagree with the assumption that our starters are so solid a grad transfer coming in is crazy talk. A legit PG or a center would definitely play on this roster

Good luck getting one of them to come to Mason.
Sight unseen visits Jim! This is our chance!

So now I'm going counter what the consensus is on here - Polite is going to be a bust and Kolek will be the real deal.We all did.

I'm guessing that Mar will transfer to a D-II program. Any guesses whether it will be D-I or D-II?

"'We are excited to add Goanar and Drew to our recruiting class,' said Head Coach Ben Jacobson. 'They have demonstrated a great work ethic in the classroom, on the court and have proven themselves as teammates and winners. We have known Goanar for a number years and have always been impressed with his mentality and approach. He is a tremendous defender and brings a wealth of experience that will immediately impact our program.'"
"Goanar Mar joins the Panthers via George Mason University where the 6-7 forward played three years. He started every game for the Patriots as a freshman averaging 10.9 PPG, 4.4 RPG and shot 35 percent from beyond the arc. Mar played in 19 games as a sophomore due to injury and competed in 31 games as a junior. He played prep basketball for DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mar led DeLaSalle to four-consecutive 3A state titles and was one of five finalists for the 2017 Minnesota Mr. Basketball Award. Goanar is the son of Elizabeth Jiech."
