Way too early coaching search (maybe)

Preferred Walk-On
I was neutral on Paulsen from day one. I didn't think he'd have us with multiple ncaa bids back to back, but at least a mix of NIT or NCAA bids every 3 to 4 years. Looking at his coaching style and body of work, I don't think he's the guy for consistent success in the A10. So hypothetically for everyone ready to hit the reset button where do we look next?

1. BCS assistant
2. Mid major coach
3. Up and coming low major
4. Retread

My 1st choice (pipe dream) would be to develop some sort of coaching pipline with UVA, Villanova, or UMD starting with one of their assistants. I know this may make us a stepping stone program but thats better than being a bottom feeder. We could also use the recruting boost.

2nd choice Tommy Amaker still a far shot but a respectable body of work.

I wonder if Matt Brady would be interested.

I like your thinking, but there isn't anyone on Villanova's staff I would take as a head coach right now.

Luke Yaklich is responsible for Michigan's defense, and I'm a big fan Michigan's defensive scheme, so he might be worth a look.

We need to go back to our roots. The choice is clear. Mikey the Chimp.....

In all honesty, I'd be in favor of being Mike Lonergan's redemption story.
