They will only have 3 returning players who played meaningful minutes in the A10 last season. The struggle is real with this latest coaching change. I guess we'll see how good of a coach Rhoades is.

I'm probably in the minority here but I'd still like to see them in the top half of the A10. I just want the satisfaction of beating a good or at least decent vcu team. If vcu collapses as will the reputation of the A10. I want Mason to beat every team in the A10, after that I want what's best for the conference, even if that means rooting for perennial A10 powerhouses at times.

But I mean, still... F*** vcu

Never, never, never, never! I will never be happy unless vcu pulls a Towson and goes 0-for one season. I could care less what is good for the conference. I used to care about that with the CAA being stronger because of vcu. But what did that get our athletic program? Nothing. I get satisfaction from beating any vcu team, whether they are strong, weak, big, small, I don't care.

With the accusations coming out of Texas about kids being paid to play, can we connect dots back to all these vcu transfers? Shaka and Wade maybe did what they had to in order to get these kids to vcu while maybe the new guy is trying to do things the right way? Pure speculation but probably not that far fetched.
