Is it normal to not start selling single game tickets until late October? Having said that, anyone selling their seats for the home opener? Planning on making the trip down from NYC.

Yes usually they go on sale like 2 weeks before the home opener.

I'll be attending a fair number of games but if I find the student who stole my drink cozy last season, I'm out for blood!!

I wish there was a "beer garden" area that all fans could access before games and during halftime - not only limited to season ticket holders.

As an out of towner I rely on the beers I drink across the street before to carry me through the game. Not proud to admit it, but I did abscond a beer during halftime of a GMU game at W & M once. It goes w/o saying, but it was a no to low-level security situation in the W & M season ticket holder room that day. This is all sounding very alcoholic of me, but what are message boards for I guess.

Well done sir, well done.

Nice write up. Thanks for sharing. If 3 of the 5 can contribute this year like Otis, Jaire, and DeAndre did last year we'll be in good shape for the future and might even surprise this year.

I'm looking for 4 of 5 and that's only because I think AJ is still gonna redshirt.

Given Jalen's propensity for fouls, Temara is gonna play significant minutes up front.

He and Boyd are the two most physically prepared freshmen I can remember at Mason since maybe big George and he was obviously a special case.

Newman gives us perimeter shooting, which will get him on the court if others aren't hitting shots.

And the staff loves Kier's all-around game and basketball IQ, although he's not a pure shooter and I wonder where he's gonna find minutes with Otis and Marquise playing together.

On top of last year's class, this group was just what we needed to compete in the A-10.

Folarin Campbell showed up ready to play day 1, as did Erik Herring and Luke Hancock (although Hancock doesn't really count, as he was a post-grad)

If we're really going with a lot of four-guard lineups it doesn't bode well for our ability to generate offense. Guess what happens with small lineups that can't shoot!

Just hoping to see more player development and cohesive gameplans/adjustments this season. Getting over 15 wins would be a plus. I predict our breakout player is whichever guard hits close to 40% of his threes this season. Trying to temper expectations this year so I can be wildly unrealistic about how good we'll be next year.

Taking largely the same approach as last year. Winning a postseason game or not playing in the play in game is a must. Apart from that, I expect some decent wins, and some head scratching losses. Would love to beat vcu again. As long as we improve again, I'm happy. Next year I'll start having expectations.

I just reviewed my CC statement - $460.71 spent at Brion's/Red Hot and Blue/Patriot Center concessions last season. A good chunk of that was post game, but it doesn't account for the costs of meals that you would otherwise get in the Patriot Club hospitality room, so all in all it is a very good deal.
