Based on the article that Washingtonian linked to...if fired before the end of his contract Mason is only on the hook for half of his base salary. His base salary is only 400k with the other 3ook in supplemental pay. So based off those numbers we would only be on the hook for 2ook a year for the length of his contract if/when he is fired. Doesn't seem that bad?
