It's because vcu pays off A10 refs but can't do it to NCAA refs. They can run A10 with their bullying, but not the world.

Also got unlucky on that non-shot clock violation call. Ref's got it right by not overturning, but I don't think it hit the rim.

Not necessarily. Tulane plays in the AAC. The AAC somehow, (via a good commissioner) was able to secure a $1 BILLION dollar television contract for the AAC. Those member schools will split the money evenly. To me, leaving GSU for Tulane was a no brainer.
