Is this regular season only? I ask because Will Thomas probably played more games in that season than Shevon will due to lack of postseason opportuniities.

Most of our inept offense starts with our bigs beyond the highpost And Shevon in the midlle somewhere busting a** to get a pass from the wing. After he gets ignored he chases down the misses. Bless him bc if it were Will Thomas or Evans, our wings would get beaten with bats in their sleep for not keeping the bigs happy. Ya gotta keep the bigs happy! BLESS Shevon, bc not many would keep fighting for these Rebs. Conversly, if our putrid guards could shoot, then we arent seeing Shevon on draft boards as high as he is.

They went 6-11 from 3 against Richmond and he still got a double-double. I think you are diminishing Shevon's rebounding for no reason.

He certainly belongs in the conversation. Shevon is without question the number one thing opposing coaches mention in their scouting report to their players before facing us.

Unfortunately, as we saw in the Duquesne game, it's not too hard for a smaller team to take him away, because we don't have the perimeter shooters or coaching to make an opponent pay when they pack in a zone to take Thompson away.

It was embarrassing how bad some of our "passes" intended for Shevon were on Saturday. Let's just throw it 4 feet off target and right to the defender instead of waiting another quarter of a second and hitting Shevon while he's wide open!

He'll always be the man. What's amazing is Thomas did it at 6'7" and averaging 16.1 points, 2 assists, & 1 steal a game.

Will was definitely "the Man", especially his senior year. Virtually unstoppable one-on-one and could pass out of the double teams.
