Vaughn Gray is currently tied for 18th in career 3-pt. FG% (35.1%) at Mason (minimum 100 attempts). Corey Edwards (37.8%) & Patrick Holloway (36.5%) are 12th & 16th, respectively.

Armchair shooting guru here . . . I think he could be a very good shooter but he is just too inconsistent mechanically. He has a slight fade away which gets exaggerated at times, which seems to make him much less accurate.

The kid is not an A-10 caliber player, just plain and simple. Not attacking his character or personality because he is a good kid and represents us well but he just doesn't cut the mustard on this A-10 level.

I disagree hes not an A10 caliber player.

Dude has game, and we saw that early on. To me its not a far stretch at all that the doghouse treatment and never playing, and then the quick hook now he cant get any confidence or mojo going. I think he was mishandled from the get go by Hewitt and that stunted his development big time.
