Most of these dudes are PREP dudes.....so you must remember they had no offers when they were high school seniors....NONE so this TOP 8 dude in Ga is a PREP dude and like I said had no offers when he was a senior. Luke is just one example of a kid who was under recruited. Chaz Williams, Eric Maynor, Matt Janning, Will Thomas, Loren Stocks, Gerald Lee (and these are just off the top of my head from the CAA)

vcu has a real recruiting class with one 4star and two 3star STUDS

Verbal Commits does a composite that takes into account Scout, Rivals and ESPN. Mayimba was rated as a 4 on Scout and a 3 on both ESPN and Rivals. His composite is 3.3. Finally, there are players that are overhyped and some deserving of more credit. I am happy with this class and their collective records on the court. I think it may be time to take out the trash and they are not our recruits.

Anyone have any ideas what the purpose of the odd rotation pattern with respect to Gray has been the last 3 games? He has gotten 3 mins in each of the last 3 games. He has gotten rebounds, scored a 3 pointer. free throw and generally the team has improved on the scoreboard during the time he is in (to be fair, he did have one turnover as well). He has been inserted into the game midway through the first half, almost as if he is going to come off the bench as a contributor, but then does not come back in, or only for garbage time at the end.

I could understand if the coach was of the opinion that Gray could not contribute and did not use him at all or only in end of game garbage time. Or, if he was looking forward to next year and realizes he may need some decent minutes from him and trying to get him some more in game experience this year, but 3 minutes is not really much help to that end. Neither of those scenarios would seem to be the case.

Based on Jollay's other thread, I think Hewitt intends to put Gray back into the game at some point but eventually forgets he's even on our team.
