There's been a lot of AJ talk (us included) but where do people see Mar fitting in? He might be the most talented Frosh we've had in years. He will be an instant impact defensively and has a good stroke. It almost seems as if he prefers shooting 3's. I think he will improve our transition game both on O and D with his length.

Mar may be a day 1 starter. If Relvao doesn't start, that leaves Calixte. Having a front court made up of 2 frosh both has me scared as hell and super excited. 6 days!

I see mar and Wilson sharing time at the 4 but also possibly being a tandem up front if necessary with three guards - just depends on matchups and how things go. Aj will probably be more ready than mar- but like I said earlier I’m terrible with predictions

From what I saw in the capital classic, kid is plenty athletic. I bet he’s going to end up contributing more than we all think.

As long as he can play defense and move the ball on offense, he will have plenty of opportunity. DP does not value raw athleticism over fundamentals. I like to call this the Abrams vs. Kier case study.

My expectations for Mar are very tempered. He's gonna be great, but I think I can count on one hand the number of Freshman we've had that have been day 1 impact players.

The kid is plenty athletic. No one has to worry about that. He was also a lockdown defender in high school, so no one has to worry about him becoming another Abrams.

I predict there will not be a shortage of minutes available to scholarship players. I predict that if we don't grow up fast things will get ugly.

The first year of Paulsen had a very short rotation too and he held his own, along with various other challenges. There’s going to be some growing pains this year, but let’s hope everyone stays healthy. Hopefully they can and have a good season even with a short team but it may be tough to replicate what they did last year, and it may be a step back.
