That's actually disappointing. If you saw little Greek Freak versus vcu in the tournament, he was vastly improved from earlier in the season. Had he stayed at Dayton he'd have become scary good. Can't he just live off his brother for a few years before going pro himself?

Wow, A10 is really going to be ripe for the picking next year. Hope we can capitalize by winning the tournament, but I am worried any chances of an at large are going to be significantly reduced - for us and the conference as a whole.

SJU, UMass, and us should be at the top of the table next season and warrant consideration for at-large bids. We shouldn't count out URI, vcu, Dayton, Davidson, or SBU either. Every year we underestimate the strength of the conference and every year the conference ends up being stronger than it appeared.

St Louis should be better than the Bonnies which makes the middle and top pretty crowded. SLU filled with 4 and 5 stars next year and only graduated Roby.. If those 3 guys suspended for video taping a gang bang are let back in they might have an outside chance at #1

damn that makes it 5 total with Svoboda and X Man Williams... only 3 of them were rotational players anyway... glad lil Greek Freak is gone. he could be scary good if he got better

SLU doesn’t have any 5 star recruits. Carte’are Gordon is a highly regarded 4-star big man, though.

If Jordan Goodwin comes back in the fall, he, Hasahn French, Jalen Johnson and Gordon will be a very nice young core for the Billikens.

French was NEVER a 5 star. Gordon was in the top 20 nationally as a junior, but his ranking had started to slip even before he committed to SLU.

Not that any of that stuff matters, of course.

he committed when he was a sophomore when he was a 5 star (8th nationally I believe) and then became 60th ranked and a 4 star right after per ESPN and everywhere else

By my count, 21 of the top 30 players from California c/o 2016 all signed w/programs out East. Guess the coaches there haven't heard.

Mea Culpa - the sort didn't take for some reason and my numbers are wrong.

Correcting for that, you also have mixed in Colorado, Tulane, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Creighton, Rice, and Iowa State plus GA Tech & Dayton you mentioned.

That reminds me, the guy next to me at the a10 tourney said something that made me laugh. He said that McCall looks like Woody from toy story but he has lost his hat.

I think that might be why he is so angry.
