Offseason A10 Recruiting/Transfer Thread

vcu fans are going crazy waiting for today’s 5pm decision of 5 Star Bigman Armando Bacot Jr. they are in his top 5 with UNC, Duke, Georgia, and OK ST. He’s from Tichnond so I think it’s just more of a respect thing. Most of the experts think he’s going to UNC.

That said vcu has made a lot of well rated players cut lists this summer, guessing Rhoades is a pretty good recruiter.

Twitter says UNC....too bad vcu.

The vcu boards are burning. One man... probably VCUPav's shorter fatter brother said it was unfair that Bacot had retweeted vcu fans and responded to them on Twitter and chose another school. I have NEVER witnessed a more pathetic person in life than someone like that. There only joy comes from a 17 year old retweeting them. LOSERS all of them... surprised so many got dinner rush off to look at his announcement video

Makes me really bitter to see Miami and vcu/URI on the finalist lists for kids from Flint Hill and PVI, without Mason

But I guess that's what happens when you are in the ACC/make 8 or so consecutive NCAA tournaments.

Shame Paulsen couldn't get Wahab from Flint Hill. Every time I saw him play Paulsen was there.

Maybe vcu will get him, but his recruiting blew up. Unlikely but possible.

They won’t get Wahab either. Just like we won’t be getting Robbie Beran. We offered early but he now has 37 offers including 15 new offers in July. A buddy of mine is friends with his family and said he most likely won’t go to one of the big school offers but a really good academic or Ivy League school.

Don’t know where our 2019 Recruiting thread went to, but DeMatha PG Jahmir Young took an unofficial visit to Mason today.

He would be a very good get. His stock has risen tremendously since last spring.

Prokop Slanina, Fordham's only non freshman worth a damn is having season ending shoulder surgery.. He is 24 years old and has a year of eligibility yet.... The poor just got poorer. Nick Honor-3 star and Eysi 4 star freshman will be the only good players on that roster... GW might still be worse than them which is crazy
