New video board looking fireeeeee. Pic from the GMU Twitter account.
I'll try to remember for you. No promises that I don't have a few before the game and forget though.Hopefully someone will help out the out of town fans and take a video of the pregame intros with the new lights and video! I'll be watching on the stream, but I'm not sure if they will have all of that on camera for us.
Why are they practicing at EBA?

I aka can't attend because I'm getting married. So a video of the intro serves as a perfect wedding gift!Hopefully someone will help out the out of town fans and take a video of the pregame intros with the new lights and video! Agree the intro was killer. Like others said finally felt like a real college basketball experience. No stats or fouls shown , kind of need that when you're watching live

While stats did appear with some regularity on the corner video screens, the appearances were not long enough to absorb the information. The information on individual players is posted by the player's uniform number (this was also true with the old board) and I haven't yet memorized our players' numbers, so there is a lag for me in understanding what I'm looking at. Less of a problem with the old board, because the information was always present.
I'm not arguing that I prefer the old board: it's clear that the current board provides more excitement and is more versatile. And I know that the ads shown on the same screens help pay for the new system, but I hope some tweaking of the current system is possible.
