Had a chance to see the new board the other day. It was not turned and nobody was around to answer questions on how it will be used during live action (speaking of "live action", what happened to Turtle Man?)
It is smaller than the old board. I don't think it looks so small that it looks out of place, though. The corners are not as wide as the old board (where the Coke signage was). The underbelly of the board now has EagleBank signage on it similar to the old board.
The new lighting is really good, IMO. The seating area is considerably darker than it used to be but the court really pops.

Great point! Can’t believe I wasn’t thinking about this a a plus of the video board. For some reason, I was thinking, “oh yeah instant replay will be nice”. But a hype video that gets people on their feet and making some noise may be the best part of the video board. Hope they got a good one ready to go.
