Don't forget Mason only played the top three teams once. (URI, St. Bonaventure, and Davidson.) Mason lost all three of those games. So more than likely Mason benefitted from an easy conference play and still could not improve their record from the previous year.

Agreed - By George guys, talk to Ruge and come up with some sort of reward that the loudest student can get each game - maybe like a funky hat or something that they are given at 1st time out and get to wear for the game and then return, so you don't have to be out of the a** for a ton of tshirts.

They only had 4 total games against the top 3 teams in 2016-2017 as well (Dayton x 1, vcu x 2, URI x 1). I mean, you can’t really fault the schedule for the finish, they are in five year cycles.

Are we allowed to mention the whole youngest team in the nation, no seniors, 8 scholarship players thing last year? Even Coach L never had banner years when we didn't have great senior classes (Miskiri - 99, Evans/Herring/Price - 01, Butler/Lewis/Skinn - 06, Thomas/Campbell - 08, Long/Tate - 11.)
