I hate that Comcast has the SEC Network buried in the 900's instead of grouped with the rest of the sports channels in the 840-870 range, but I have it in HD!

I hate that the most (maybe only?) creative thing we did after the Final Four was take out an ad and congratulate Boise St beating Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl, "from one Cinderella to another...."

I hate that ODU has an opening day in football and we don't. We could do this ...

I hate you don't realize football costs a ton and that Cabrera doesn't want to raise student fees.

I hate college football didn't spread out the games this weekend. Saturday night was a glut of good games. Last night there was only one game.

I hate that you don't know that I know that. I can hate that I don't have a 40 foot yacht, and I can hate that and realize at the same time that I cannot afford it if I had one.

I hate that in what should be a happy day because I got to see leaked pictures of Kate Upton naked, I also had to look at Justin Verlander's bare a** standing next to her.

I hate that the "Know Your Patriots" was not presented properly. Should have included all the new players upon its release.

I hate that someone in the admin can't convince US News to change the summary used for Mason when looks at just the rankings. Here is what one reads about Mason when just scrolling through the rankings: "Despite a sizable commuter population, the school offers a Weekends at Mason program and events for students who don't travel home after the school week is over."

http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/page 13

With a nod to Yossarian, I hate that US News continues to run the same old bullshit.

How about somebody from the university inform them that we now have a significant on-campus population? That summary would've been valid when I was in school 25 years ago, but not now.

First step in changing your image is getting rid of deep-seated perceptions. Our admin has to be aggressive and vigilant or else we'll never get rid of the "commuter school" stigma, no matter how much the campus changes.

I hate these rankings.
For real? New School, U of St. Thomas, Colorado school of Mines, SUNY U of Forestry....all ranked higher the us? Our location alone should get us in the top 100. Something wrong with the methodology.

I hate our shitty endowment...

Based on the methodology UN News uses, there really is nothing but up for us. However at the moment, I think our dismal endowment is what holds us back the most. We increase that, we move up the rankings.

Undergraduate academic reputation (22.5 percent)
Retention (22.5 percent):
Faculty resources (20 percent)
Student selectivity (12.5 percent)
Financial resources (10 percent)
Graduation rate performance (7.5 percent)
Alumni giving rate (5 percent)

I hate that college fundraisers have not adapted to the increase in diversity - see http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marybeth-gasman/are-colleges-and-universi_b_3870338.html.
