I hate the Sopranos has been off TV for so long and that there will never be another show like it.

I hate Keith Jackson doesn't call college football games anymore. A big game was always bigger with him behind the mic. Like true legends, he made bad games watchable.

I hate that for the first time since I can remember, I CAN wait for college basketball season to start and then I won't be able to wait for it to end.....for obvious reasons.

I hate the summer is going by so fast.

I hate Metro won't/can't build another tunnel from Roslyn to Foggy Bottom. Who actually thought it was a good idea to build a tunnel so only one train could go through at a time and require trains to alternates into and out of DC?

Like Five Two, I also hate that the closer we get to September, the more I find myself dreading the approach of college basketball season. It used to be my favorite time of the year. It's so different going into a year when you know your team is absolutely going to suck.

I hate but love that my 3 kids all play on basketball teams in the winter and it is getting harder to get to games when they have games and practices. I hate that my wife and I are seriously considering just buying single game tickets to games we can attend.

I hate that I can't remember the punishment Cam Long got for taking a pillow from a hotel. Reason I ask is that Weber from vcu got suspended for one game for stealing an iPhone. Anybody remember?

It wasn't Cam, it was Cornelius and Pearson. Larranaga made them both sit out a game against GW and they absolutely butt-pummeled us.

Before we start crowing about Weber's suspension, we need to wait and see what the final punishment will be. He got 1 game for being charged; a conviction could bring additional sanctions.

Because I would hate it if our university became as lax as others are on criminal behavior and other violations of program/university policy by athletes.

I hate that Andre's error in judgment cost him 10 games of his senior year, and cost our program a returning starter who would've made a difference on the court.

But I hate even more that our society has allowed way too many athletes to think they're above the law because they can run fast or jump high. Scholarship athletes should appreciate their privileges and complying with fairly basic rules is a big way to do that.

I hate that I was just complying with the rules of the thread with a little sarcasm.

Stealing a pillow from a hotel is one thing (they don't even really care about their pillows), stealing someone else's cellphone is another altogether, 1 game suspensions for both things seems incongruous to me.

There may be many things to like about how vcu athletics handles their basketball team, their discipline isn't one of them (I'm also thinking of the non suspension of Rozzell after pushing Isaiah Tate from behind while he was helpless in mid-air).
