There will be a lot of resumes of players who look like "hired guns"
I hope they have saved some of the NIL money to pay for college tuition to eventually get a degree.

Think he did what was right for him. NBA ready…no, but he’ll likely be in the league two years from now. Just hope he gets on a team that’ll help him get there.

We need to get that Urgent Care doctor on staff. It's amazing how they were able to find that ankle injury that all of our other doctors missed.
This the perfect NIL opportunity for him. I can hear the slogan now…

“When you need a doctor’s note, or when that blows up in your face with a PR nightmare, and you need a miracle cure, we are your medical facility of choice… I can personally vouch for their services”

I’ll bet you $20 that he transfers into a worse situation than the one he’s leaving. He’s not good enough for a P5 coach to give him the ball and basically organize the offense around letting him try to beat his man like Tony did.

I believe I have a pic of their Chief Physician Dr. Nicholas Riviera:

And then he’s stuck there until the NCAA birdies give out a third free transfer.

Actually, and board folks correct me if I'm wrong ... why do I even ask for that, I think that if you put your name in the portal you essentially are giving up your scholarship, ie the coach doesn't have to have you back, ie give you back your scholly, if no one wanted you, though I don't expect that to be an issue here.

Vandy going to need alot of players. They also aren't poor, Ohio State likely needs players and can pay.

Pretty sure all scholarships are year to year anyway. Most schools just honored them because no one would come if you just kicked everyone off the team every year. Now it's all different you get recruited over etc, but theres no rule they have to take you off or bring you back etc.

I disagree, there's a lot more bad power 5's out there than you realize.

Dude was a good player for us, but this has to be in the top 5 for strangest endings to a basketball player's time at Mason.

What I've gathered from what has been posted is that he went around the athletic training staff and team doctors to get evaluated for an ankle injury? I can think of basically two reasonable explanations for doing such: either he was not trusting of the staff to protect his health (which doesn't seem to be the case) or he was injured doing something that he was not supposed to be doing. To those in the know, am I hot or cold here?

From what I've read, only the Power 5 conferences have multi-year schooly's as the norm. Most are year-to-year.

Hall isnt good enough to carry a team like he wanted to be and what Skinn thought he was.

Hall might be better suited going to a school where’s he’s not expected to carry the team.

I think Halls departure will be good for both Mason and Hall.
