40,000 students, wow. And to tack on just $25 to all of these individuals tuition for athletics support or "insert miscellaneous fee charge here" and we have a million dollars to play with for athletics.... with majority of going to basketball. Can do a lot just with these fees for resources, upgrades, etc.
How much is the fee for free basketball tix?40,000 students, wow. Free basketball tix!!?? Back in my day, we didn't even need no stinkin' tix!!How much is the fee for free basketball tix?
Not necessarily true. VA limits the percentage of a school's athletics budget can come from student fees. Now, I don't have the latest numbers of Mason's budget so it's possible Mason could increase the student fee, but it isn't some option that comes without limits.40,000 students, wow. ^This passed btw. The article from after it was signed was paywalled though.
I guess that is a way to look at it. I would assume Mason isn't hitting whatever 70% of its athletics budget is in student fees. Theoretically a large donation would instantly up how much Mason could jack up student fees.If I am correct - this data shows that each GMU student paid $531 to the Athletic Department for "free" entrance into any GMU Athletic event, for the year represented in the data?

True - but you had to clean out the oil lamps before leaving after the game back then.Free basketball tix!!?? Back in my day, we didn't even need no stinkin' tix!!
Now get off my lawn, I'm yelling at those stupid clouds!
And getting on the ladder to retrieve the ball from the peach basket after every make really impeded the innovation of the up tempo game.True - but you had to clean out the oil lamps before leaving after the game back then.
Did you try posting them on a web service and then linking the photo - that is what I had to do before.I keep trying to post pics of the campus but my files are always too big. Stopped by the bookstore today to stock up for the coming season. Old farts may be interested that the old apartments are now but a memory. An open park is all that's left. Sigh, so many good times there.
Lived in the apts sophomore year in 2010, loved it. Rules weren’t enforced nearly as much as other dorms on campus, we got away with throwing some pretty big indoor/outdoor parties.
One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor. One very bad night with tequila, Jose Cuervo I believe, still has my stomach churn at the thought of a shot.Lived in the apartments from '84-'87. GMUTomGMU lived below me. Water fights, Tequila nights, some of the best memories I can barely recall were lived in those apartments.
I have no recollection of any of that, which means you’re probably right.Lived in the apartments from '84-'87. GMUTomGMU lived below me. Water fights, Tequila nights, some of the best memories I can barely recall were lived in those apartments.
Me either. It was all woods when I was there.I have no recollection of any of that, which means you’re probably right.
And they just did a stream restoration back there as well. Looks nice.I keep trying to post pics of the campus but my files are always too big.
