2015-16
15 home games (14 at EBA, 1 snow game at the RAC)
Total attendance 64,506
AVG: 4300
without the RAC game: 4420

2016-17
16 home games
Total attendance 70,590
AVG: 4412

2017-18
17 home games
Total attendance 66,470
AVG: 3910

I dont do %'s very well so ill leave that to math wizards but This year was up from last year by about 400 fans per game, having dipped 500 fans per game the year before. the fluctuation is interesting, not sure what to make of it to be honest.

GW is terrible yet their fans are so much better and more knowledgeable than ours. I had a great time at the game today talking with GW fans and watching their "old" fans yell, scream, and cheer. I wish Andy Ruge had been there to see it. They suck and yet their fans were cheering, standing, and yelling. The GW cheer team and dance squad were excellent. We could learn so much from them in terms of spirit. Lots of work to do in Fairfax to equal GW in terms of atmosphere.

One additional comment. The Green Machine remains the best band in the nation. GW's band pales in comparison to Doc Nix.

The whole place sucks. The atmosphere is somewhat better than ours but it’s still a worse gameday experience because of how shit the arena is. So many obstructed lines of sight. I’ll take the Green Machine and a decent arena over slightly better fans and a half empty convention center.

The one thing I will give to them is their court level version of the gold room looks nice.

I’m pretty sure the two bands have gone head to head and the Peppas lost. They sound like a garage band with too many parts to me.

GW has better cheerleading and dance team than ours by a lot. Also the pizza stacking comp was better than anything that’s not the baby race that we do. Also helpful to have someone who has played basketball just one time before in their life do the shooting competition. We seem to pick folks that don’t know how to play basketball each time.

Then maybe lead by example, Mr. Negative? You predicted the @GW game as a bad loss. At the least, you failed to cheer for your team on Masonhoops. How did you fare at the Smith Center?
