OKIt was meant as a humorous statement playing of the previous porn reference comment.
Relax a little.
Peterson is real, Pikapp. He went to Layola University before he transfered to Mason and took us to the Final Four.On a side note - I am Catholic so I was only trying to joke. Besides - Layola is not a real University - its mythical. Like Petersen.
Roger we are good...I get the joke now. I am a little slow on the uptake! I am a Friday fish eater myself!!On a side note - I am Catholic so I was only trying to joke. Besides - Layola is not a real University - its mythical. Like Petersen.

JMU just hired Georgia Southern's coach, Mark Byington. Played at UNCW. Only notable achievement is his team beat us a couple times recently. Let the hot dogs fly.
JMU is the poster child of mediocrity. Nothing they do should be applauded by mason fans. I mean Rowe f**king sucks as a coachIf we had hired a coach with Byington's record, the Fire Dave crowd would be up in arms.
That said, he looks like a reasonably good hire for JMU.

Football focused sports school. Curious what Byington will make at JMU as a coach.
Very well done, whenever it’s time for the pat dome to shut its doors in 10-15 years I hope we do something similar in size/layout and with suitesAtlantic Union Bank Center - see http://jmusports.com/feature/AtlanticUnionBankCenter.

"The agreement between Byington and JMU is for six years at a base salary of $375,000. With supplemental income for aspects such as fundraising activities, ticket sales promotion and other responsibilities beyond coaching the total compensation would be $450,000 per year, according to the school."
