Big let down on defense in the second half. Mar especially kept getting beat off the dribble, and everyone seemed to stop tracking runners on the backdoor cuts and pick and rolls as well....tons of open looks and easy shots at the basket for W&M.

While the Patriots showed some sac coming back at Aub after falling behind huge early, they still lost by 16 pts. to a football school. I'm concerned about this squad.

They, also, got a gift in Harrisonburg last week, they'll have to give it back on Wednesday at home.

I did see following online that we couldn't get a stop for about 10 straight possessions.

Not to demoralize or punish the players, but would pitch counting the starters' minutes and pulling them over a certain amount help out over the next few games--maybe give them a rest for the mid and late season a10 slate?

Everyone started playing hero ball on offense. Terrible ball movement. Bad shot selection. Turnovers. Awful rotations on defense. Let W&M play inside out all night.

I hate mason for hiring Hewitt. That really set our program back at least ten years.

Well Shaver totally out coach DP, pretty sad, they just don't look very motivated. Seems like all they want to do is shoot threes. Why is it that every team we play has strong center play, and we don't. How is Marr supposed to cover an athletic 6 10 center. I get it, Mason has a lot of freshmen, but after three years of DP, I don't see a competitive A10 team. It all comes down to recruiting , what did they expect with a 6 7 freshman playing center? Looks like Kier has lost all his confidence. Paulson has a lot of work ahead.

I hope Paulsen get some more size into the program. Reuter sounds like a good player, but he is only listed at 6'7".

He needs to step up recruiting drastically. Frankly we have only 3 solid starters on the court. Otis, Mar, Grayer.

Imagine if Paulsen didn't force Abrham off the team. We could really stretch the court
