DJ3 would have to show up to a game in order to lead a parade. I still don't know how a guy who didn't attend the game that also had his feed stop working knows so much about what happened during the game lol

As I remember the story, when Coach L arrived, we had no established scorers. And I believe the most promising scorer broke his leg early in the season, maybe even in an exhibition game. George Evans was also in his first year and it wasn't clear how good he would become and he never was a threat when he was more than 10 ft from the hoop.

I remember feeling sorry for Coach L at the time for leaving a decent program at Bowling Green and walking into this mess. Undaunted, Larranaga remembered Herring when he tried to recruit him to Bowling Green. For some reason Herring didn't go anywhere so Larranaga convinced him to come here and become immediately eligible in January.

In any case, Larranaga went after him, not to "throw him a bone" but because he felt that Herring had potential and would improve our athleticism. If I'm not mistaken, in the first game he ever played for Mason. Herring was our leading scorer. So you're dead wrong on the motivation on recruiting Herring.

Similarly, Miskiri who was playing at a local community college was also recruited to join the team in mid-year. Viola...we had some scorers!

Everyone can point and laugh at the grammar and my drastic opinion. But deep down you all know their is truth to my point of view.

The issues we currently face are DP's fault. I highly doubt we will be much improved next year.

lol all the season holders have the prime seats but don't show up. mason needs to stop selling them. It's embarrassing

In fairness they had the equivalent of a Duke player land in their lap because she grew up down the road and the degree she wanted was offered here. Nothing against getting a transfer, but everything went their way on that one lol.
