To be fair, he was praising him for being vocal on the bench despite sitting a bunch. Hopefully Dave is doing some pre-work to soften the blow of losing minutes. First game I've seen in person since Penn and Reuter is still a traffic cone on defense. People around the program LOVE him and rave about his leadership qualities, but he's a matchup-dependent play at this point.

I felt like the team "looked" better tonight, but kept looking up at the score and thinking why is this game so close?

Calixte is looking good, want to see much much more of him and AJ together. Still don't understand why Mar is getting over 20 mins a game or why he was subbed in on D at the end of the game on more than one occasion.

To watch this team and not see them higher than 12th, is depressing. This defense is horrible. Why doesn't anyone ask DP at the presser, hey your defense is making too many games closer than they should be and a lot of games losses that should be wins. I'm sick of watching the layups. And I think we got outrebounde by one of the worst rebounding teams in the country while playing 5 guards!

They have been restricting the amount of questions we can ask. I asked about Grayer and Calixte. That’s our bad!

Well hate to say it but this just looks like a badly coached team. Turnovers, looking lost on offense, terrible defense, incapable of boxing out for rebounds and having trouble making layups and free throws.

Why has Goanar Mar turned into an absolute liability on the floor? No way he deserves all the minutes with the complete lack of production.

This season was sold all offseason as the year it was all going to come together but it looks like it’s all unraveling.

Unless DP can get these guys to play defense we are toast for the year. Crap, Morgan State must have had 60% of their points on lay ups and put backs. The only person showing some toughness under the boards is Javon Greene. The rest are just standing around. Reuters has some offensive ability but zero defense. The guy cant jump. If u watch him he is practically flat footed attempting to guard and grab rebounds. Sorry he is way overrated. Mar is lost, playing entirely too soft. I havent see him crash the boards once. Im thinking he must be hurt.
Anyway DP needs to read these guys the riot act. Also, maybe I am off the mark,
but whats with all the hand slapping when missing free throws and after a turnover. I get the teamwork thing but enough already. Lets save those antics when they do something positive.
Nevertheless a wins a win.
