From a fan standpoint, absolutely nothing good can come from this game. Even if we came out and won by 40, it’s meaningless because it’s Morgan State and we’ve seen what Mason probably is. Nothing really matters until A10 play at this point. Very depressing.

Respectfully disagree. What we've failed to see at this point is good, cohesive basketball for even 30 minutes (let alone 40). If we see our guys starting to play together in a way that utilizes each persons strengths, we solidify rotations, Otis continues to get out of his funk...etc., that would be really encouraging.

Even in our win against a DIII school we saw RED FLAGS that we were hoping to be aberrations...but they weren't, they were real red flags. Evidence of real improvement is what we're looking for here, and that does matter.

I'm so skeptical at this point, even if I saw 40 minutes of perfect basketball tonight, I know in my mind I'm going to say it doesn't matter, it's Morgan State. I've seen this team play 8 games now including the exhibition, it's going to take more than one game to change my mind. Maybe a 5 game win streak and a respectable showing at Kansas St would start. I'm down.

The first half at Georgia Southern was maybe the best basketball Mason has played since 2011. Easy to forget since the second half was such an abomination, but still. There have been flashes of very good play.

We honestly have no plan on either side of the ball. On offense, we hand the ball off near the top of the key and then just trail off like a QB running play action. There are no cuts to the basket, picks, give-and-go plays or inside-out passes. It's the same old one-on-one bullshit with low-percentage shots and unforced turnovers.

What offense do we even run? It’s stagnant. It has been stagnant. It’s the one consistent criticism I’ve had of DP throughout his time at Mason. There always looks to be only 1 option and very limited motion off the ball.
