What has happened to this team in the past three games? We were playing great against Louisville in their arena and were matching them for just about all of the game... and the defense was good. Now... its like our defense never existed and we just play sloppy

Wow, two terrible games in a row. We're not even competitive.

After three years I expected more. Yes, we have to live with freshman, but man with the exception of Mar, Otis and Grayer we dont have much.

Louisville shot like shit. If they were even mediocre that game we get run out of there.

This trip has been bad. Team is forcing shots, not playing D, and not moving in transition. We can spout this “positionless” stuff all we want but if that’s the route we want to go, we can’t play defense as though we have a traditional lineup.

Exactly...we gave up a lot of open looks against Louisville, too. They just weren't knocking anything down until about 30 minutes into the game.

Our weakness is finally biting us in the a**, which is essentially being undersized at both the 4 and 5, which means we're vulnerable to the drive and kick, the dump down into the low post, the pick and pop, the pick and roll, bigger fours who can shoot, offensive rebounds, quicker guards curling off of screens(since we have no big to get in his way once he turns the corner)...defensively we're pretty much at a disadvantage the second the other team sets up any kind of halfcourt offense.

this is why the Relvao transfer really hurts us. He could clear space, and he was a decent defender. Calixte will be able to eventually.
