Nice to end the regular season with a victory in front of a big crowd. Hopefully, they'll see that Paulsen is building the program back up and they return next year. Sad to see Marko and Shevon play their last home games. They've both been through a lot of losses — even more so for Marko — but neither one ever hung their head. Kudos to both for their service to Mason (and Rudy and Julian as well). I hope all four leave Fairfax with a degree in hand.

(BTW, I think Dave had a complete brain fart when he went with a 1-guard lineup with several minutes to go. He was lucky to get away with it, because Richmond was a missed 3 — and a wide open 3 at that — from cutting the lead to 6 with 36 seconds left. Dodged a serious bullet on that one.)

Well said Tom. Despite the number of losses, everyone sitting near me at the game was commenting how the freshmen have improved over the year . The program is definitely headed in the right direction. Paulsen has done a great job just turning the aircraft carrier into the right direction and begin to have us firing at the enemy and not our own feet (as the previous coach did ). Looking forward to the tournament (A10) to see if we can shock someone.
