I bet he has at least another 2 years. He still has 4 more years on his contract plus they did finish 3rd last year in the A-10 which is pretty good. It only seems like he's a bad coach because we've dominated them the past 5+ years.

Yeah he’s a hard case because you look at his body of work and it’s like well it’s not that bad. He’s done okay for the most part and even made the sweet 16.

That said from seeing what their fans have said, they have concerns in terms of team preparation, development and recruiting etc. In addition he has a new AD. I’m sure if donors are pushing for a change they’ll get it, especially since they have the private money to buy him out.

Personally I think he’s going to get the axe, but that’s just my view.

Must be nice to get a $7.5M donation. Frustrating that we've had to scrap to that level of money for ours, and theirs will be a standalone. Really hoping ours ends up being adequate.

Win and we finish above .500 in conference play. That hasn't happened since 2012-13 when Hewitt took four returning players from a Top 25 second-round NCAA tourney team w/a conference POY all the way to a glorious 10-8 record in a down year for the CAA.

Paulsen might do it with no Seniors, no depth and in the A-10.
