Don't take this the wrong way but we are just A LOT better. You guys can't compete with us. GMU will also be a below average A10 team aka vcu's little brother. I told you this when you guys followed us to the A10! How'd that workout for you?
Mason can compete in the A10, they just can’t compete with vcu.

Idk who that is but he can shove it to

is one of the more famous of GMU alumnus. He's always trying to pump GMU on facebook and cries when GMU loses. He was in tears last night over his bourbon.

Hard to say thats accurate. Since you've been in the league with us its been one season after another. Even this year that you guys are calling "a good season" would be looked at as a total disappointed by vcu. I just don't think Fat Dave recruits at an A10 level. He would be good if you were still recruiting the CAA!

You don't trust him with the ball, but yet you let Kier stay out there after committing 6 TO's a game? A missed shot is just as good as a turnover speaking defensively. Greene after today has been 5/20 his last 3 games, Otis 5-24, Kier 10-28. You are focusing on the turnovers, BUT EVEN WITH A BAD FOOT IN 3 GAMES, HE's STILL SHOOTING 40-50% from 3pt. But yet the golden boys Kier and Otis get to TO the ball 3-4 times a game and shoot 30% from 3 yet their minutes don't get reduced? There is literally no excuse why if Grayer's foot felt better during the tournament in Florida he should have played. Paulsen plays favorties
A turnover is not equal to a missed shot. You can rebound a missed shot. Not all turnovers are equal either. A pass out of bounds is much better than having one intercepted or having the ball stolen as the former doesn’t lead to a break out opportunity. I think your logic is flawed.

Still, I think the offense needs to change. We shoot a low percentage because of the quality of looks we get. They’re bad. Our dribble-handoff-roll offense is terrible. When we do get an opening from 3, it is usually coming off a skip pass from the elbow or wing. That’s a much harder pass to make and a harder catch and shoot than a kick out from the low block. The point is, Paulsen has got to change the offense to get better looks. We have some decent shooters, we just don’t put them in good positions often enough to make their shots.

You can be upset about Grayer. Honestly, he wasn’t going to make a difference this season. There are too many flaws with this team.

Hey man, most of us know as gmuraider. He had his time on here and we know what he’s about. He’s passionate but we all have our issues and opinions on him. Shoot me a message if you want more.

This will be a bit of a deadhorse for the regulars here, but Paulsen came in with nothing. Brad and him are finally getting the program respectable in the sense of infrastructure, facilities and record in league as best they can. It’s not that easy obviously, but he has slowly improved the program. Is it where it needs to be? No. But many of us are hopeful they will continue to improve. He’s already done a lot since hewitt. The recruiting has improved w the talent on the court, the first two classes or two he was lucky to get because they were fast. Now he’s established so he has some improvements.

Also he’s actually gotten skinny for what it’s worth.

I hope everyone realizes that VCUPav is not actually Pav. Not his writing style, definitely doesn't visit other teams' message boards or even VCURamnation much anymore. Not like in the old CAAZone days.

You’re either a visionary or an idiot.
Thank you sir :). It's called running a zone once in a while. Last year when we played GW on the road, we broke out a 1-3-1 zone and placed Greene in the center. GW couldn't handle it very well and we eventually brought ourself back in that game. I haven't seen any kind of zone defense this year, strictly its been man to man, switching or double the post. A zone requires a team to be very disciplined but it can limit the amount of chasing around the court a player has to do. Not saying its an end all solution but clearly what we are doing is taking away our energy on the other side of the court.

This is actually Pav. I'd run along before I tell them some stuff about you!

Koblan told me he was in touch with him and it’s him. I thought it was a fake at first too.

Yeah it did you f*ck, go f*ck yourself

No, it really didn't. It's one thing if you don't like the opponents school or fans, but to make up that kind of shit just because you are upset about a beatdown is just low class dude.

The friend of mine was at the game and saw it, @MasonFanatic . Did you attend the game? If you did then you’re welcome to dispute it. But I believe you don’t go to games.

I don’t make things up. No point in doing that.

Mason is a small ball team. When we shoot, we don't get a lot of offensive rebounds. We are like 200th in the nation in rebounding. Our tallest player is 6.8/6.9. Hence our missed shots are like turnovers, the degree of the turnover varies. I can agree with your stance on our offense, we do settle for a lot of low percentage shots. Paulsen's offense worked in other conferences because the players weren't as athletic. I am not upset about Grayer, I just don't think he was handled correctly.

Where did you sit?

101. There were a LOT of vcu fans there obviously, since over 6K were announced. Now, the vcu fans that i was around/saw did the obligatory clap when Livingston got up off the floor and walked to the bench. I didn't hear one person cheer.

Masonfanatic sits in a section across and said some fans cheered near him. Regardless I’m not making it up and you didn’t hear or see it. Just sharing what I was told.

I worked with Pav for a while - so if he messages me and tells me where we worked I'd believe him (the only way I'd believe). He knows my username. Definitely not his writing style, nor does he have the time to post much anymore, anywhere.

Ok, maybe "some", but every fan base has douche bags like that. Including G Mas believe it, or not.

You stated "vcu fans cheered otis’ injury" -- I took exception because I just didn't hear that at all. Again, maybe some dbag near your friend did.
