Did anyone else find it odd how long it took the white kid to get the shot up with 0.04 secs left? That was a good look and he looked totally unprepared? That fella would never be playing for previous vcu teams.

OMG, this is hysterical. I was watching the game at home and I literally wanted to punch that "Superfan"in the face

They did another one later in the game with the president of the rowdy rams....she wasn't a whole lot better; (paraphrasing) every moment in the stu is her favorite memory of this past basketball season! Does anybody know if they did that twice for every game of the season?! Embarrassing!

I love the resiliency and chemistry this team is showing. If you had told me prior to the game that we were going to get zero points combined from Kier, Greene and Wilson, I would have said we have absolutely no chance. Think about what Mar did last night. I can't remember the last time we had a freshman score 20 points at vcu, and he dropped 26 like it was no big deal.

Words can't describe how far along Gonar is right now at this stage of his young career. He showed no fear at all in that atmosphere, and even thrived in it. Compare it what we saw from Greene last night, who was forced to play 28 minutes after several unnecessary fouls by Kier. Javon has had some spurts of greatness this season, but he played like you would almost expect a freshman guard to play in that environment with several TOs and ill-advised shots (although his 7 boards were impressive).

I also have to laugh at vcu's alleged Super Fan, who appears to be in his 40s and has only been following the team for six years. Seriously, WTF! As we trend up and vcu's program trends down, my hunch is that said Super Fan will be nowhere to be found two years from now.

Have to say, listening to their entire crowd go silent after the tip-in....made my whole week. Also, watching their players leave the court and not even view their own senior night post game video, also priceless. Cheers to those who made the trip, it was a damn good time.

Kid is actually their highest ranking recruit that actually came to the program (not signed as they lost Doughty and another that were ranked higher). Kid played for Montverde Academy in Florida (Ben Simmons high school). Haven't seen him this year but I saw him in high school and he was really good playing against future D1 players at major schools. hopefully this loss was too much for him and he transfers to University of Missouri Kansas City to play with Danny Dixon
