Had a nice altercation with this douche last year when I went see us play vcu. His whole family sits court side next to basket nearest visitors bench. Anyway, he didn't like us talk in shit about Burgess' brother being better than him, and tried to get us kicked out. Long story short, security came and made HIM move. Wife is a cunt too.

There we sat at Brion's Grille. Only me and Brion on our side of the bar. Only two people on the other side. Brion was calling the action before it happened. He called the last three-ptr that we made shortly after the in-bound for that play. When down 11, Brion said we'd come back and win. We did! Brion is God!

Mr. Brion also said that he is a huge fan of Coach Dave and that he's an excellent coach.

Oh, and Brion asks, "Jack, where are all your fellow Mason fans tonight? They're obviously not here. What do I have to do to get more fans to watch the road games?"

The usual band of 115 misfits that go to brions were at crafthouse tonight. Nothing against Brion we just felt like something else

Goanar is the man, best freshman game performance ever?!? Like you ever doubted Boyd was going to score with one second left?!! Winning in Richmond playing 6 men on their senior night, priceless!

They did another one later in the game with the president of the rowdy rams....she wasn't a whole lot better; (paraphrasing) every moment in the stu is her favorite memory of this past basketball season! Does anybody know if they did that twice for every game of the season?! Embarrassing!

Mason posted a video on Instagram from the locker. AJ was jumping up and down smiling and celebrating with the rest of the team. He appeared to look fine. I’m sure him sitting out the rest of the game was a standard precaution.

Quick version: what an awesome, awesome win. For me, the Paulsen/Otis era is defined by how hard they fight no matter the situation, and I love that about them. They had plenty of opportunities to fold in the second half and just kept fighting back. vcu went up 75-64 with 5:15 left in the game, and Mason immediately responded with an Otis Livingston 3 pointer, a stop, and two Otis Livingston free throws to quickly bring the deficit back to 6. vcu then hit what looked like a backbreaking three, and Mason responded with consecutive threes to make it a three point game. This team just battles no matter the situation, and that’s the best kind of team to watch.

EDIT: While I'm up, the vcu boards are well worth your time. Multiple degenerates arguing wholeheartedly that vcu should have fouled to put us on the line when we inbounded with 17 seconds left, even though it would have given Mason the lead.

Fortunate to catch the re-run sportscenter spot on Boyd. So awesome for these guys. What a great freaking win. Saturdays atmosphere is going to be electric.

Have to say, listening to their entire crowd go silent after the tip-in....made my whole week. Also, watching their players leave the court and not even view their own senior night post game video, also priceless. Cheers to those who made the trip, it was a damn good time.

Did anyone else find it odd how long it took the white kid to get the shot up with 0.04 secs left? That was a good look and he looked totally unprepared? That fella would never be playing for previous vcu teams.
