So Fordham in the A-10 Tourney is the replacement of vcu from the CAA Tourney.

Maybe one day we can beat both when it matters.....

On the Polite possessions, the first one is the one I have a real problem with. The second one the floor was wide open and he missed a bunny because he was trying to draw the foul. I think he makes the layup if he's not trying to initiate contact...regardless, a D1 PG has to make that. Also, much harder to get the ball to your best player when he is a true post. In crucial situations, teams will deny and sag. That said, there need to be more of an effort to get it there and I hate the PG iso to end the half unless you have KY version of John Wall...

What makes you think that next year will be better than this year? We lose two starters and possibly a third if Josh leaves. Do you think Fernandez and Dinkins will contribute more than Schwartz and Coop? Or are you basing this on the expectation that CKE will bring in a transfer or two? Who is going to back up or play alongside Josh? I think we have potential to be better but based off what we know, I don’t think the roster is better next year. If we get a solid big man and another shooter in the portal then that changes things….but right now I don’t see an improvement.

I don't know, the season ended 2 hours ago. I can have expectations that next year will be better because based off everything I know about English, I don't expect him to lose very long. We don't know who is coming, but I think everyone can agree change is coming.

If next year isn't different, I will be very surprised, and really mad. But mostly, surprised.

In looking at the +/- in the box score only 2 Mason players finished with positive totals...JO (2), XJ (8). Polite, despite scoring 10 pts was a -12, the lowest on the team.

Unfortunately the group KE inherited lacks toughness (mentally and physically), leadership, basketball IQ and is frankly just too damn nice. And the 3 transfers did probably too good a job of blending in with the returning players instead of asserting themselves and rattling some cages when needed.

Without throwing anyone under the bus, KE admitted it postgame when he said it’s a great group of young men, the kind you’d like to date your daughter, but they are very quiet and don’t play with much emotion.

He needs to totally overhaul the culture of the program and reclaim the nasty streak Mason used to be known for because our last 2 coaches made this program soft as baby shit. Hopefully that will be an emphasis in the portal … not a winning formula when your coach is the toughest person in the locker room.

Most will be gone, one way or the other. Probably should’ve happened with the coaching change, but Kim didn’t run off the guys who wanted to stay — in retrospect that was a grave mistake.

Running two plays for Polite out of timeouts is the best English can come up with? WTF!!!

This blew my mind!! I was apoplectic and screaming, "WHY!?!?!?!?" at English from across the court. I would have preferred Oduro take a 3 then place the fate of the team in Polite's shaky hands.

To me, that English statement is as tough as I've seen all year...I like it...Basically, to me, it says, I'm not gonna throw guys under the bus to the media during the year, but this is not going to continue once my guys are here. We won't be sh*tting ourselves down the stretch and not putting teams away in the future.
