You do have a point. However, I didn't see anyone at either the South or West door that seemed to be handing out coupons. Do you have to get the coupons from the Chick-Fil-A stand on the concourse?

Wade recruited very well, but was 0-2 in the SoCon tournament at UTC -- losing both times as the higher seed.

I haven't seen anyone handing out coupons, and we use the North entrance, so if it ain't at the East, they aren't doing it any more. They used to distribute them at game end in past seasons. I guess they've gone the cheap route and said use your ticket stub or ID. I've never claimed the prize, so I'm not sure if they accept the season ticket pass card as "ID".

Tougher to recruit for VC "THUG" U and talk about HAVOC when you look like the kid who got his lunch money stolen in high school.

Don't want to get my hopes up, but I think the Hewittization of vcu has begun. It's the same thing that happened to us: still good in year one, but something's not quite right. I find it hard to believe that a Shaka-coached team commits that horrible turnover on the Moore steal with 20+ seconds left.

We can only hope. They have underachieved this year. Granted, they are 12-3, but they have no business losing to GW, much less a team that starts 3 kids 9 months removed from their high school prom.

For some reason, vcu only covered Shevon with one or two guys. Most teams put three guys on him and steal the ball when he attempts a move or dribble. Shevon has proven over and over that two guys simply cannot cover him...Woe to those A-10 teams that try to guard him straight up!

We can thank Wade's arrogance for that. Boy Wonder thought he could pressure our guards out top and cover both of our big men one on one, and that plays to the only two strengths we have. Moore and Otis were able to split their double teams to get into the paint, and Thompson and Jenkins destroyed their big men in the post.

In almost every game we have lost this year, coaches have smartly doubled our big men and dared our guards to shoot from the perimeter. Something tells me Wade will have an epiphany and rethink his "strategy" if we play them again in Brooklyn.

14 points (on 6-7 shooting) 15 rebounds, 2 blocked shots.

I wouldn't lay any blame on any of our forwards (other than Marko's defense, and even then he had no business being asked to defend a guard on the perimeter one-on-one) for what happened against La Salle.

Shevon has a pretty decent chance against two guys. He gets in trouble trying to maneuver through three guys.

Beating GW put vcu back in. But if we make GW a less quality win for vcu, maybe we can knock them out again.
