At the halftime interview, Schwertz seemed to suggest they game planned to encourage a lot of threes from GMU.

There was a strange moment when Haynes bear-hugged Avila after SLU got the ball following a rebound. It was brief, came out of nowhere, and right in front of the ref, who clearly wasn't sure what he was witnessing.

When one player wraps up an opposing player, it's an obvious foul, but in this case it what do you call when Haynes looked to simply be giving Avila a "hug"??? :
